Turks and Caicos is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. Feel free to walk around and enjoy the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. Coastal Vibes Villa is lucky enough to have a Police Station situated just down the road as you enter Chalk Sound Drive.
Where is the villa located on the Island?
Coastal Vibes Villa is located on Chalk Sound Drive, Providenciales Turks & Caicos Islands. Complete address will be provided after booking. The villa is situated directly on the beautiful turquoise waters of Chalk Sound with your own private beach for launching watercraft provided. The villa is situated in a desirable community as it's only a 2 min.walk to the popular Sapodilla Bay Beach and a 20 min.walk to the more secluded Taylor Bay Beach. Las Brisas Restaurant is also a 2 min. walk. By car, it takes approximately 10 min. to get to grocery stores, Grace Bay Beach, restaurants and shopping.
When is the best yime of year to visit?
The climate in the islands is generally hot and dry, with an average yearly temperature of 80° F (26° C). Average rainfall is only 33” (83 cm). May to October are called the hot months, and November to April the cool months. The weather is excellent throughout the year. Although note that hurricane season is between August and November, with potential activity being mostly between the end of August and early September.
Is Coastal Vibes Villa totally private?
YES, when you book with us you have the entire villa and grounds to yourself. Pool, 102' beach for launching your your watercraft, bar-b-q/grilling area, and all lounging areas on deck & on beach!
Is wifi included?
We have high speed internet service inside both villas and surrounding the property. Including the beach front and patio areas! Streaming videos for work or enjoyment has never been a problem.
Is the tap water safe to drink in Providenciales?
In most cases, yes, it's perfectly safe, yet bottled water is the common choice due to the mediocre taste of piped water.
What is the currency in Turks & Caicos?
The legal currency for the Turks and Caicos Islands is the US dollar. The Turks and Caicos Islands boasts multiple banking institutions located throughout the islands, and most stores or places of business accept major credit cards. There are also ATM’s found throughout the islands.
Will my phones work in the Turks & Caicos?
Typically if you are on a plan, you will need to inform your operator to enable international roaming before you arrive, it may be already set up on your phone. GSM coverage is provided by the two local telecommunications companies (Flow and Digicel), and Flow provides coverage for CDMA (Verizon and Sprint phones). You have the option to buy a local pre-paid SIM if you’re mostly interested in data access and local calls.
How much do you tip in Turks & Caicos?
Tipping in the Turks and Caicos is similar to the tipping customs in the USA. Always check your bill and look for an automatic service charge which could be 10-15%. If a service charge has been added you can choose to leave an additional amount, up to 20% is the recommended total amount.
What side of the road do you drive in Turks&Caicos?
In Turks and Caicos we drive on the LEFT SIDE of the road, with a handful of roundabouts. Taxi services are also provided on the Island.

How do we contact the property manager on Island?
Our property mangers contact information is provided in the pre-arrival package sent 7 days before arrival. They are on call throughout your entire stay in case you need assistance. We would be happy all other questions or concerns before then.
How far is the villa from the local grocery store?
There are a few grocery stores on the Island. We provided their websites and locations in the digital welcome book sent to you 7 days before arrival. The closest grocery store is called "GRACEWAY SMART" and is only a 7 min. drive from the villa. The most popular is called "GRACEWAY IGA" and is a 10 min. drive from villa.
Do you provide beach chairs?
We provide beach chairs, beach towels, coolers and beach toys for the little ones! They are all included for you to enjoy and help make your precious beach time as comfortable as possible.
Do you provide shampoo and conditioner?
No need to pack your shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap. We provide these toiletries in large bottles "not just started sets" to keep you refreshed for your entire stay! We also have hairdryers provided in each room.
Do you provide kayaks and paddle boards?
Yes, we provide 2 double kayaks, a single kayak and a paddle board along with adult and children's life jackets.
